Description

As a Project Engineer, you will have overall responsibility for computer-controlled test systems. Our customers use these systems at the end of the production line when manufacturing electrical equipment (such as household appliances, motors, fans, lighting fixtures, etc.).
In cooperation with the mechanical design and software development departments, you will manage customer projects with a focus on electrical engineering through to completion.
active communication with German colleagues and customers
travel to the parent company and to customers
preparation of project documentation for test systems and instruments, including software specifications
design of technical solutions
communication with the client and the project manager
coordination with other disciplines
design supervision during implementation

Requirements

A key requirement for this position is in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering/electronics and computer technology.

completed secondary
school or university education in electrical engineering or a related field
professional qualification in electrical engineering, Section 6 or higher – experience in LV and HV electrical design
user-level PC skills – MS Office, CAD, ePLAN
ability to work in a team and good communication skills
ability to make independent decisions and solve problems
interest in technological control of comfortable indoor environments in buildings
communicative knowledge of English
category B driving licence
clean criminal record, discipline, independence, attention to detail, time flexibility and willingness to travel
